Our Charitable Contributions

Gone Reading International has pledged 100% of after-tax profits to fund reading related charities in the developing world.  All donations are made to charitable organizations with 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service in the United States.  The bulk of our charitable contributions benefit three organizations: READ GlobalEthiopia Reads and BiblioWorks.

The company works hard to run an efficient organization with minimal overhead.  No compensation, salary or dividends have been paid to company owners/founders Brad & Eileen Wirz since the company’s inception.

Although still a small enterprise, the company has more than doubled in size each of the last two years while simultaneously growing its margins and its charitable donations, all trends that should continue for the next few years.

In 2015 the company achieved full-year positive cash flow for the first time in its existence, setting it on a firm foundation for substantial growth in the years to come.  Charitable donations in excess of $10,000 more than doubled that of any previous year.
